After 10 years using AE, I still find new shortcuts to optimize my workflows and save precious seconds. I’ll share my findings as well as old ones in this post.

#001 Lock your layer
Press Ctrl+L to lock the selected layer in your timeline.
#002 Waveform
Press LL to show the waveform of the layer.
#003 Split your layer
Press Ctrl+Shift+D to split your layer.
#004 Audio Llevels
Press L to show the Audio Levels
